at peace..

Feeling very 'at peace' right now.

We all have people we appreciate but we never really tell them enough.

The last few days have been hard but I have come to terms with what the future looks like and I'm quite happy with it. I'm more than happy with the people around me but it is a shame that my friends make more of an effort and care more than some of my family do but heyho I wouldn't change that now.

A childhood friend of mine and one of Jacks closest friends has so kindly given us a very large sum of money to go towards our very lucky child's pushchair. We really cannot thank him enough for all that he does for us - including bringing me salt and vinegar pringles! He hasn't had a good run recently but he is always smiling and never fails to make us laugh too. 

A year ago today, around this time Jack my incredible fiance was wining and dining me in Paris - little did I know he was going to throw me into a taxi and propose to me on the padlock bridge. It's mad to think about where the last year has gone, I just look at my ring and it reminds me how lucky I really am.
